Before joining StrongHer, my life was in full blown newborn mama mode — very little time for self, a shower, brush my teeth, get dressed, sleep 😩 it was the valley of taking care of a new human and I had no real time to take care of myself physically. So, emotionally, I was in a very vulnerable place, my body had changed and I was trying to take on this new identity as mother while remembering who I was a woman.

I decided to join StrongHer, because when I looked in the mirror I didn’t recognize my body… and I didn’t love it anymore. I didn’t know how to love it, it felt like excess and made me heavy inside. And I needed to shed that, this was the way out for me.

I experienced learning how-to take care of my baby, by first taking care of me. I learned the best way to do motherhood is to take care of mother and that includes mind AND body.

I learned how to adjust baby’s schedule to mine and sit her down while I got in my daily MUST workout. And, one of the biggest things I learned, is how my daily actions train my daughter on a healthy StrongHer lifestyle — that is priceless!

I mean the pictures speak for themselves, honey I love to look at my body AND so does my HUSBAND — new baby on the way 😅 Oh and also, my biggest accomplishment, I lost 55lbs in 6months with 7,000 steps daily (most days 😂), and my 20-25m workout with Coach Dani. I didn’t enjoy every minute, but I did enjoy the need of every week when I looked up and realized — I chose me again!

Before beginning the program I was not in a good space physically- weak, not nourishing my body, drinking water, sleeping well, etc. all of those things have an impact on emotions too. Just overall tired is a good way of putting it.


Danielle makes working out less horrible, though you will hate her some days because she makes you put in work even when you don’t want to (but it’s well worth it). She also makes working out fun, has good music, and my favorite is how she makes cardio days dance it out days. The length of the work outs are perfect for someone who is a busy mama, the modifications help meet you where you’re at so you don’t up and quit.

I was able to see real physical results by the end of one round through the program, I started seeing definition throughout my body, I felt stronger, less tired, and once you start seeing and feeling those results it’s motivation to keep going. All of that also just builds confidence in yourself for doing something that might have felt impossible previously.
